Time To Make It Happen

Are you actively pursuing your goals, and creating momentum daily?

I have been dabbling in coaching since 2022, and am about to attend my third International Maxwell Conference next week. I am excited for another opportunity to learn and grow, but there is also an added layer of unknown expectations. I consistently consume growth and personal development content. Where I’m lacking, is in the practice. I am at that stage in my life, where I need to make things happen. Continuous talk and a little action are no longer enough.

Dabbling in my dream or goals is a good way of saying I may be procrastinating. Is it procrastination or fear I’m dealing with? I speculate, I am not alone with this realization. Over time, we have made connections with individuals who are working in the same realm or goal area as we are. We must contact these people to learn from them and allow them to advise us in our process. This, of course, means we must be vulnerable, and overcome our insecurities.

As we make gains toward those dreams, we must create the momentum necessary to continue to grow in that area. This only happens when we take that first step toward the goals we are chasing. These steps can and will be small at first. The time we allow for each of these steps will vary. It is important to take the time necessary for each step and not move things along too quickly. This will ensure our success, and that the growth we make is true to our goals and dreams.

What kind of vision or mental picture have you created in your mind of your goals? Our thought process and vision of those goals and dreams must be big enough. Too often we think small, myself included. We lack imagination, as to what could be. Holding a vision in the forefront of our minds, revisiting it often, is difficult. We must never lose our vision of the goals and dreams we carry with us.

What connections do you have, that could help you meet a goal?

Where can you create momentum in your day, that will help you meet a goal?

Where are you playing too small, in the development of your dreams?

For too long, I have talked a lot and dabbled a bit in my goals and dreams. In the coming days, I hope to find a better path to achieving my expectations. This week, make the necessary connections, which will allow you to create momentum for your dreams. Remember, hold that dream tight, and make sure it’s bold and big enough. Thanks for looking in this week, and please leave a comment below that will contribute to this conversation.
