Where is your persistence allowing you to win in life?
This week, spring arrived. Unfortunately, Mother Nature did not get the message, and winter was not done with us just yet. It should come at no surprise, as winter always seems to linger. Winter can be persistent, and ironically, I was milling over that very word in my mind this week. I had an experience the other day with a technical task that I was struggling with and how I had to persist at finding possible solutions. Well, I managed to take care of my important task and Mother Nature managed to kick around a little snow this weekend too.
We can be persistent in many ways. Our thoughts and self-talk are huge contributors to our success or failures. How we think of ourselves or believe in ourselves is vital to how we show up every day. If the positive message persists in our minds, we can accomplish anything we put our minds to. Are you upbeat or down in the dumps and lack enthusiasm? Our energy is another contributor to our success. We must bring the right energy to the environment of our organizations. Without the appropriate energetic vibe, we risk not creating a work environment conducive to success and passion. We also have persistent partners in our lives. These are the people who are a constant source of direction and assistance on our path to success. We must surround ourselves with great people, and be a great example as well, but do it persistently.
What are the persistent thoughts you have each day?
What kind of persistent energy do you bring each day?
Who are the persistent people who have helped you in life?
I just love the word, persistent. It can be such a powerful word of encouragement for us and others. Wherever we are in life we can never give up chasing our purpose. We must preserver and persistently take the steps we need to take ourselves to the next level. I hope you are creating persistent habits in your like. Thank you for checking in this week and please leave a comment below that will contribute to this conversation.
