Falling In Love Again

Have you ever rediscovered something and you fell in love all over again?

It is common to feel down over a situation at work or a negative interaction with someone. It reminds us of the need to rediscover the things that bring us joy and reinvigorates a passion of ours; something we absolutely love. Sometimes it feels as if we are chasing a goal but never finding it. Ever get the feeling the more you search for things the harder they are to find? It is like when we open the refrigerator in search of the ketchup, never to find it. Which never happens to me of course. Let us dive into finding the things we love this week!

Stop looking so hard because much of what we love is right under our noses. I would say we are completely oblivious to the gifts and simple joys right in front of us. What are you missing? What are we taking for granted? When we express gratitude for what we have, we will continue to receive additional blessings. Start seeing the simple loves in your life and enjoy yourself more.

When we least expect it, our true love or passion projects might fall into our laps. Recently, an unexpected offer was given to me. This offer gave me a renewed hope in my future coaching goals. This offer will allow me to practice my craft, sharpen my coaching tools and gain potential clients. In my struggles this week, I would have never guessed this gift would give me a renewed hope.

If we lose our way, we should seek the simple joys in our lives that might rekindle a thought or missed step. We have all heard the phrase, keep it simple stupid. This phrase rings true in our continuous goal chasing. How often have you overanalyzed something or talked your way out of something you wanted? It is not always about the big goal you are crushing. Sometimes it is a little win that keeps us hungry for our big goals we have not met yet. Look for the small wins that keep you in love with the chase.

What if we took a break from our endless searching? I am not referring to giving up. I am referring to a little pause, reset, or gathering of our thoughts. I love reading, but sometimes I need a break, so I listen to a book or Podcast instead. Progress with our goals or dreams we love so much can just stop us in our tracks. We miss steps, or become frustrated to the point of standing still. A break can clear our minds and we are able to refocus. Never ever quit, but a little break is quite all right.

What stands out in your everyday life that you take for granted?

When was the last time a wonderful experience landed in your lap?

What joyful occurrence has set your mind right today?

Do you need to take a break from your endless dream chasing and why?

Pay attention, and keep your eyes open for the goal you love to chase. Fall in love with the pursuit of becoming the person you have always hoped to be. Whatever you are doing make sure you love it. Thanks for looking in on this week’s post. I hope you have a fun week rediscovering something you love to do. Please leave a comment below that will contribute to this conversation.
